Dark Horse Studios features a state licensed tattoo studio and professional photography studio, located in Melvin, MI. A little off the beaten path but this adds to the studios allure and charm.

The tattoo studio is spacious, clean and very well lit. We are a disposable shop, so you can be assured that you are getting clean, sterilized equipment every time. Those looking for a distraction while getting their tattoo, we do have Netflix and video games.

The photography studio features all professional lighting, modifiers and several backdrops and props. If your looking for outdoor sessions, our studios are located on 80 acres. There are a number of beautiful locations for outdoor pictures.

The lobby features pushed tin ceilings and an overall Victorian feel. Take a seat in our hand carved antique chairs and sofa. Need a little pick me up? Grab a handful of candy from our vending machine.
